Subconscious punishment

Some societies evolve and I'll use Rick and Morty in this example, how he got cleansed,

The good half goes up,

The "bad" half stays down

Those people are innocent, and will be intermixed with society right away.

Some may look or act funny, it's because thats how they are. Laugh with em'!

It's a process of washing the soul after it's extracted and taking only desirable traits.
