Some societies evolve and I'll use Rick and Morty in this example, how they got cleansed, into toxic Rick and toxic Morty, no, you have to overcome your hardship.
The good half goes up,
The "bad" half stays down
Those people are innocent, and will be intermixed with society right away.
Some may look or act funny, it's because thats how they are. Laugh with em'! Including people is a really good trait to hold.
It's a process of washing the soul after it's extracted and taking only desirable traits, or chopping the timeline of the soul up, leaving the bad parts or good parts behind.
